She received her Doctorate in Zoology (Avian Hearts) at the young age of 22. By training, she is a scientist and also taught at the university level. She also worked in the scientists\u2019 pool of the Council of Scientific &amp; Industrial Research (CSIR), Government of India.Dr. Heptulla was elected to the Rajya Sabha (The Upper House of
