  1. All matters relating to the procurement and distribution of foodgrains, edible oils, levy sugar, iodised salt etc.<\/li>\n
  2. All Nodal authority for procurement of iron and steel materials for all Governments.<\/li>\n
  3. All matters relating to Public Distribution System and opening of Fair Price Shops, distribution ration of Cards etc.<\/li>\n
  4. All matters relating to Fixation of price of essential commodities.<\/li>\n
  5. All matters relating to the following Acts and Rules\/Regulations made thereunder
    \n(a) The Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
    \n(b) The Consumer Protection Act, 1986.<\/li>\n
  6. Nodal Authority for procurement of Cement for all Govt. Departments Corporation bodies etc.<\/li>\n
  7. Nodal Authority for procurement and distribution of coal.<\/li>\n
  8. Any other commodities declared as essential by the Central Government\/State Government.<\/li>\n
  9. All kinds of pulses declared essential under the Essential Commodities Act.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
