Suggestions/Proposals are invited from Biodiversity Management Committees, Joint Forest Management Committees and other community institutions, Gram Sabhas, Panchayats, Urban Wards, Forest Protection Committees, Tribal Councils (Autonomous District Councils) etc., in Manipur for declaration of areas of biological importance as "Biodiversity Heritage Sites (BHSs)" under the provisions of the Biological Diversity Act,2002.
